Oncology Informed Massage is a specialized approach to massage therapy that is carefully and safely adapted for individuals affected by cancer. Every session is adapted based on your medical history, cancer diagnosis, current treatments, medications, energy levels, mobility, symptoms, and personal comfort.
Treatments may include a variety of safety modifications and positioning adaptations to help clients feel more comfortable and supported throughout their session. Care is always guided by a comfort focused approach, prioritising relaxation, nervous system support, and helping clients reconnect with their bodies in a safe and compassionate environment.
Lymphatic K Taping
Lymphatic K Taping is a gentle technique used to help support the body's natural lymphatic system and encourage the movement of excess fluid. Using a lightweight kinesiology tape, specially designed fan shaped strips are applied over areas of swelling or congestion
Lymphatic K Taping may be helpful for managing injury related swelling, lymphedema, lipedema, post orthopaedic and cosmetic surgical swelling, radiation related edema, bruising, mild fluid retention, and scar related restrictions. It may also help reduce feelings of heaviness, tightness, or discomfort associated with swelling.
